Join us to write postcards to registered Democrats in Kentucky to boost turnout in 2019 and beat back GOP candidates. Please arrive promptly with first class stamps in hand.

FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO GO TO THE TRUMAN DINNER ON SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, WE STILL HAVE TWO TICKETS AT THE $195 PRICE. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, PLEASE REPLY TO THIS EMAIL.

We look so look forward to seeing you Tuesday!

Lita and the DemOC PAC crew!
We are so excited about our meeting this coming Tuesday when we will welcome...
S
AND NOW A WORD FROM OUR SPONSOR... :-)

I know we are all Trump-weary. But we are also worried about what is going to happen next November. We came together in January, 2017 looking for solace and we did so much more....we were activists, we raised money and look what we did...we helped turned OC BLUE! Last weekend I was in SF, revisiting my childhood home and thinking what it would be like to live there. And realizing how much I would miss my political buddies if I were to ever leave. Because here we make such a difference. And now is the time.

We do such important work here at DemOC PAC. Last year, we gave to $35,000 to 15 candidates and we "maxed out" to 3 of our new BLUE congresspeople and also gave to Katie Hill, Josh Harder, TJ Cox, as well as candidates who were struggling around the country. It's so great when they see significant checks from ORANGE COUNTY as they work so hard to win! Last year, we turned OC BLUE. That was beyond our wildest dreams. But our work is not done.

We must keep our seats and the House, It is IMPERATIVE that we win the Senate...we must stop this Republican Senate, and we MUST win the White House. NOTHING is more important.

This year, not only do we want to "max out" ($5,000 each in the primary and general) to our OC candidates, but we want to give SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS in key races around the country....we want to raise more than DOUBLE what we did last year and have a GOAL of breaking $100,000!!

If you have not rejoined the PAC for 2019, please join today.
  • If you have joined or are about to join, please consider adding to your gift.
  • Instead of counting sheep last night, I was adding numbers.

    • If we had 25 people giving $100 per month for 12 months, and
    • 25 more giving $50 per month, and
    • 25 more giving $25, and
    • 25 more giving $10
    we would raise $52,000
And we would certainly reach our goal of $100,000!!!
    Think of THAT!

The Blue Wave rolled in the room

Dear DemOC PAC Members and Friends,

I hope you didn't miss our meeting last Thursday evening! The Blue Wave rolled in the room ....we were lucky enough to be joined by not only Congressman Harley Rouda but we had two surprise guests...Congressman Mike Levin and Congresswoman Katie Porter! (Better than MSNBC!) It was a full house in Turtle Ridge when Soha Vazirnia so generously hosted us for a lovely reception and sit-down event. We made our second donation of this primary season to three of our Congresspeople and they shared their thoughts with us about the aggressive GOP effort to re-take their seats before both Katie and Mike departed. Harley then continued with a very eloquent talk about his first 8 months in Congress, his role on his committees, what he has already accomplished and his upcoming race. (You can read a great recap of his comments below.)

Ticket for sale!!! If you missed getting a reduced rate ticket to DPOC's Truman Dinner on Saturday, September 28 for $195 we have one (1) left! (Actually we have none but one person has to go out of town.) If you want to bring your spouse, let me know and we might be able to make that two! Just reply to this email and we can make it happen.

I hope you will join us for our next meeting when we welcome a man who has been called a mustard maven with a conscience.
