Dear DemOC PAC Members and Friends,

We will have another newsletter this week but we need to get you some details quickly....

Next meeting is Tuesday, July 24 at 6:30...mark your calendars...details to follow. Our last meeting was well attended with more than 120 people and we had a fascinating discussion with Katie Porter and her Campaign Manager Erica Kwiatkowski. We expect another of our four Congressional Candidates to join us at our July meeting....Stay Tuned.

The rest of our discussion centered mainly on the forced separation of migrant parents and children by the Trump Administration. It was another excellent conversation by a committed group.

Can you believe it? The campaigning has ended (to begin again), the signs are down, the media has left for a few days, and we have FOUR, yes FOUR, DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATES....one in each of our OC swing districts! Gil Cisneros is our candidate for CD 39, Katie Porter for CD 45, Mike Levin for CD 49 and either Hans Keirstead or Harley Rouda for CD 48. Until late last Tuesday night it really seemed impossible.

Now the work comes...we need to activate again, coalesce around our candidates, raise money and get our four candidates into office. Let's get together and talk about that...

WE ARE SO EXCITED TO WELCOME

The latest news from the Dem OC Pac for you!

It is difficult to imagine that just over a week has passed since our Candidate Forum! The media has been swarming over Orange County and our forum was in the center. Articles are below. Not only were we filled with people but the reporters had a field day.
I hope you were there to take it all in. If not, read below. You will get the flavor!

Tough questions were posed by our moderators and audience to all candidates from the 45th and 48th and Kia Hamadanchy, Katie Porter, Brian Forde and Dave Min along with Harley Rouda, Hans Kierstad and Omar Siddiqui all did a good job.

By the time we meet again, the primary will be over and we will break it all down, discuss what happened, and look to November and how we will approach it as activists and as a PAC.

I hope you will join us...
